Halloween fun

We are busy planning a big costume party because the boys insisted that we needed to host one but our week leading up to the main event has been a busy one.  Last night was the Gettysburg Halloween parade.  Brennan and I walked in the parade with his school. Their theme was Halloween Hoe Down.  They sang a song that they learned as part of their Hoe Down earlier this year.  Tonight we finally got around to carving pumpkins.  I can usually duplicate pinterest ideas but pumpkins are just not my specialty.  Jace and I worked on the owl.  Brennan drew the face of a power ranger and Nate carved it for him.  We will do a little trick or treating on Friday and then host our big party on Saturday.  It wouldn't be right if I didn't share a few more pictures of leaves that I took on Monday.

The kids did awesome in the parade, adorable!  Brennan sang and walked the whole way.

Not a great picture but here they are taking in the parade after Brennan and I were done walking...they were into it.  Go to the Evening Sun and check out their pictures...neat stuff at the parade last night.

Digging in!

Not so sure!

It's truly beautiful here, pictures don't do it justice.

So glad that we put a ribbon around this tree and saved it!

Picture perfect
