MIA

I know that I've been missing from the blog...we've been really busy and are trying to get packed for a weekend at the beach now.  Here are a few pictures from last week when we went to the fair, the farm and a couple pictures of some progress that we made on Brennan's big boy room.

Playing the gold fish game, they each ended up with 1!  Brennan now has a Nemo with his Dorthy.

Hershey Park Happy

We had fun today at Hershey Park.  I can't believe how much they've added since the last time I was there (probably 12 years ago).  Brennan loved riding the rides.  He only wished that he was a little taller than a miniature!

Several inches before he is a Kiss

See that tall ride, the falcon...Brennan rode it...talk to Daddy!

Not sure this ride was made for Daddys!

So many water attractions at Hershey now!

1/2 Way

20 weeks, just 20 more weeks to go!  He weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. He's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana.
He's swallowing more these days, which is good practice for his digestive system. He's also producing meconium, a black, sticky by-product of digestion.

It's a...

Boy!  Brennan is going to have a little brother...double trouble!!  I'm sure there is lots of tractor playing, baseball, basketball, fishing and all things boy in store for these 2!  20 more weeks to go until we meet our little buddy #2!

My 3 boys!

When we first showed him the picture he said it looked like a monkey.  Unfortunately we weren't videoing yet when he made this comment.  Then he changed his answer to tail feather?!

Here's the post from when we found out what B was.

London 2012

The Olympics are coming to a close and I haven't even posted about the events of the past couple of weeks.  I've spent many hours watching and being inspired by our athletes.  Brennan even knows to say "Go USA!"  The US easily landed on top of the medal count and our women in particular were dominant, winning nearly 60 medals (last I checked).  Way to represent US Women!!

Here are some of my favorite Olympic moments:

US women win gymnastics the team competition.  I also enjoyed watching Ally win the gold on floor and congrats to Gabby on winning the all around...and people leave the girl's hair alone like she has time to worry about her hair when she's training constantly!

Kerri Walsh Jennings and Misty May Treanor 3 peat!  Can you believe they are ages 33 and 35 respectively and Kerri has 2 kids?

US Women's Soccer Srike Gold Again!

And who isn't inspired by Michael Phelps and his record for the most Olympic Medals ever!

Summer Don't Go

We are having too much fun, summer needs to slow down.  I can't believe it's almost the middle of August.  Yesterday we went to Nate's company picnic at Britton Park in Shippensburg, it's a nice park with a kiddie pool, fountains, and playground.  B had a great time.  Today we went to Caledonia to go canoeing.  We had a picnic along the lake and also stopped at the pool.

At Caledonia

You can't see it in this pic but there was a big slide for kids 42 inches and taller...we eventually left because B was so upset that he couldn't go down it!

18 weeks

Only 2 more weeks until we are half way!   I have felt the baby moving some but not consistently. At approximately five and a half inches long and five ounces in weight, the baby is moving and also developing yawning and hiccupping skills  and its own unique set of toe and fingerprints.

Lake Tobias

Today we took Brennan to Lake Tobias.  Brennan really enjoyed himself and was so excited to see all of the animals.  The park includes a safari tour where he animals literally come up to (or onto) the bus for crackers.  The park was very well kept and clean.  They had a variety of animals and we'd definitely recommend it for some family fun.
