Dino Brennan and Naturalist Jace

Grandma, Aunt Tammy and I took the boys to Pittsburgh over the weekend. We went to the Carnegie Museum of Natural History.  The boys loved it!  It was one of the best place of that type that I've taken them.  It was so well done and the exhibits were so nice!  We got to take a tour with a scientist to the mollusks area of the center.  It was in the working area of the museum and they had vaults full of thousands of shells.  He also showed the boys a living snail and showed how to see the heart beating.  Then we had a tour of the dinos.  We were the only people in the group and a former science teacher showed us around and gave us the scoop.  Brennan was so impressive; I should have videoed.  He was telling her what all the dinos were and other facts that he knew.  Jace was right there taking it all in.  The museum also had a hands on paleontology area, a wildlife area (taxidermy) with exhibits from Africa and North America, and a nature play area.  On Sunday, the boys enjoyed some time in the pool, then took the incline ride and finally finished with some shopping.  It was a fun weekend!  We'll definitely be back to the museum and the Carnegie Science center is on the list as a must do.

The only ketchup that matters.

Lunch at Primanti Bros.  The guy cooking deserves a raise...he was working so hard!!  I'm still not quite sure what all the fuss is about but we were true tourists and indulged in it.

Future Panther?

Let's just get to the museum, Mom!

I tried all weekend to get a nice pic of the 2 of them...I pretty much failed.  I'm hoping that Mom has one.
