October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. This is one cause that every team, company, organization, and individual seem to want to support. From tough NFL linebackers wearing pink shoes and gloves to races for the cure with thousands of participants, everyone is supporting the cause; and what a great cause it is! So many products on the shelves of stores all across America are now available in pink to support the cause. I'm not sure if this is just a marketing ploy or if the companies really believe in the cause, most likely a little of both, but either way donations are still being made in order to support the Susan G. Komen foundation and other breast cancer organizations.
A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to attend a Phil Vaser concert. Bomshel opened up for Phil. Bomshel's current hit "Fight Like a Girl" speaks to me on many levels but I think it's an appropriate theme song for the breast cancer cause. Check it out here.
