Memorial Day Weekend

We had a great weekend, it was even rain free:)  It felt like summer today so Brennan decided that he should hit the pool!
Hey, look at me!

See my tongue!  He wouldn't stop doing this.

It wouldn't be Memorial Day weekend without a picnic.  Brennan invited his buddies over.  It's pretty much impossible to get a picture of all of three of them.

Too much picnicing, makes a tired baby.

Celebrating our 5 year anniversary!

And yes, I put on my dress...

Cross My Heart

5 years ago today, one of the best days of my life, I married my best friend:)

I cross my heart and promise to
Give all I've got to give to make all your dreams come true.
In all the world you'll never find a love as true as mine.

Happy Anniversary Nate!

Just a quick video of Brennan taking some steps.  He's getting really good at it.  He falls after about 5 or 6 steps as you'll see in the video.

Hapy 10 Months!

Wow, only 2 months away from the big first birthday.  Our little man is so much fun, he's silly and sweet and we just can't get enough of him!  Right now he's into waving, clapping, climbing, and trying to walk.  He's also babbling about who knows what but he definitely has things to say!  He didn't really want his 10 month pictures taken but I got a couple that are pretty good.

So big

Haha

This is what he really wanted to do instead of having his pic taken

Daddy's here, better behave now!

Ok, Mom I'll let you get a good one.

Places to go, things to see

Mr. blue eyes

See my tongue?

So cute in his shorts!

Finally a "springy" week

I put my flower pots together a couple of weeks ago but kept them in the garage until early this week.  I also planted some annuals in the ground, hopefully we stay frost free.  We had a beautiful week but wouldn't you know it, it's raining today and they are calling for it tomorrow and all next week!  At least we had a few nice days and I suppose the rain will help my flowers grow.
Yay, no rain and I can be outside!

Picking posies

What, I'm not supposed to pick these?

Love this lilac

Nate worked very hard clearing brush and planting grass.  Next, time to plant the garden.
