Furniture for sale!

If you are interested in seeing my painted furniture you can check it out here.  In order to be able to keep painting, which I really enjoy, I'm going to need to move some pieces out to bring others in (or I'll end up cluttering up our new home)!  I created this page to do so.  "Like and Share" it on facebook!  I find vintage or antique pieces at flea markets, sales, etc. and give them a new look!  I primarily paint with chalk paint.  I usually layer a couple of colors to create a unique sort of weathered look.  I lightly distress to add more character and finish with a protective wax.  Here's a few of my pieces but go to the link to see all of it.

Creamy white dresser.  No layering of colors here just the hint of blue on the decal.  New hardwood and a refinished top make this a beauty!

Re-purposed dry sink into a jewelry storage stage for a bedroom but this little cabinet could have so many uses.

Vanity with layered paint in pink and gray then a white wash type of finish.  It's so pretty!

Repuposed school desk seat into childs bench, layered green and cream paint

This pieces looked pretty rough but with a little work it's the perfect porch stand.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all the Daddy's, especially to our favorite Daddy!

He really just wants to be like his Dad.  Working with no shirt on to be like Daddy!

I volunteered at the Spirit of Gettysburg 5K this weekend.  The boys participated in the kids races.  Jace ran a 26 yard dash and Brennan ran 1/4 mile.

Brennan did a great job, he ran the hole thing by himself!
Jace was excited before the race but got scared by all the cheering.  He did finish.

After using the potty, I found him like this.  He helped himself to the M&Ms.

Fun, Fun!

We had a really fun long weekend.  We spent Sunday and Monday in Pittsburgh/Latrobe. We watched the Buccos beat the Phillys in a great game on Sunday, then we visited with Summer, Noah and Rowan.  It was so great to see them and see how Rowan has grown.  On Monday, we took the boys to Idlewild.  It was a great park for little kids and better value at his age than Hershey or other more expensive places.  The boys had a blast!
This is how the boys sleep...together in the bottom bunk.  Is there anything sweeter?

It's crazy how he can drive the gator!  He LOVES it.

He had to be out there with Daddy.  Daddy just had to mow his new grass!
Headed to PNC park!

Shelling his peanuts

Really into the game!
He loves me!

Burnett goes 9 innings!

Reading the map to see where he wants to head first at Idlewild

Love these boys!

Umm, where's the rest of the folks that were supposed to be in this pic

Race car drivers

Brennan in the mini ferris wheel

Handcar, he made it all the way around

They loved the bumper cars!

Ready for the trolley ride through Daniel Tiger's neighborhood

Time to hit the water park part of the park!

So much fun!!

I love this pic of my almost 5 year old!

This guy went down even bigger slides than this!

Another of my favorite pics from the day

That's Brennan he climbed the whole way up this thing and made it look so easy!

And Jace went right up this smaller version
