Little Man Update

Jace is doing well.  Yesterday, he went to the doctor's for a check up.  His weight is back up to 6.13 from 6.9 (at discharge).  They did send him for a bilirubin test and it was slightly high, he went back today and it was normal so he does not need to be pricked again, thank gosh!  Jace is spending most of his time sleeping, which I guess is a good thing, it's certainly better than crying  Big brother Brennan seems to be enjoying his little brother.

Loving my new camera....look how clear this is!

Jace is wearing one of B's outfits...although it didn't even make it until lunch time before he was in a new outfit.  I had forgot how much laundry babies make!

Brothers!

My boys

Brennan continues to enjoy his new train.  Let me just tell you that a new baby + baby things+  new Christmas toys + all of the other stuff that goes along with Christmas makes it hard to find room for everything!

Enough pictures already!!

Merry, Merry, Christmas!

Merry Christmas from our family to yours (a day late)!  We hope that you enjoyed your Christmas day as much as we did.  I'm assuming that we'll never have another Christmas quite like this one, it's not every year that you get to welcome a new bundle of joy to the family.  We had a wonderful day watching Brennan enjoy the magic of Christmas and then spending time with our families in the evening.  We are thankful that our families made the trip to our house and brought lots of food so that we could all enjoy Christmas dinner. Brennan told us today "Santa is a good man!"  So we are pretty sure that his Christmas wishes came true:)

Our Bundle of JOY!

We received and early Christmas present on December 22nd at 1:55am.  We were thrilled to welcome Jace Tanner Horton.  This little bundle of joy sure has a mind of his own.  We were originally scheduled for a c section on January 3rd which was then moved up to December 27th but Jace decided that he didn't want to miss Christmas and came on the 22nd (no c section).  He weighed 6 pounds 15.7 ounces and was 20 inches long and to us he is perfect and we are so in love!  He has a good amount of blondish/brownish hair and really long fingers and toes, but teeny tiny feet.  He's adorable in every way and Big Brother Brennan is adapting to his new role.  We couldn't ask for a better Christmas blessing and we are so glad to be home for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and look forward to celebrating with everyone.

And here he is, meet Jace Tanner!
