Thankful

No, I did not forget Thanksgiving...I just didn't have time to write a post to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving.  So, better late than never...from our family to yours we hope you had a very happy Thanksgiving!  This year I'm especially grateful, grateful that I get to wake up everyday to 2 little guys who are silly, smart, a little crazy, sweet,  give great hugs and kisses,  like to cuddle, and keep me on my toes.  Grateful, for Nate who is a great Daddy to our little boys and who puts up with me and even partakes in my pinterest projects:).  Grateful, for a supportive family who give to us unconditionally, who are never more than a phone call away, and who without we would be lost.  Grateful, for friends who I share lunches, text messages, phones calls, and an occasional drink with, who understand the challenges of being a working Mom, who give me decorating advice, and commiserate with me about banking.  Recently, due to facebook, I've seen several families struck by tragedy and little boys are now without their Daddys, kids are battling brain injuries or facing other illness...so while facebook has it's flaws, it's certainly made me more aware of all I have to be thankful for.  During this holiday season, we are thinking of all those who are missing someone special or facing unthinkable struggles.

We had a very fun Thanksgiving.  We had lunch at the farm with Nate's family and the boys were able to sled ride on snowball hill (I guess there are benefits to a white Thanksgiving!) with their cousins.  We ate dinner with my family at my Grams. It was a special day.

Wednesday....can't believe that it snowed already...

Through the woods to Grams house...

Hmm...what to do with this snow...

My greatest blessings;)

And this is what Brennan was waiting for-- the day after Thanksgiving....the day that the Lionel can come out!!  It was like Christmas morning up at 7am and the train was set up by 7:30

Time to start decking the halls..

Admiring their work...well mostly Brennan and I's work but Jace "helped" a little too.  He liked to put the ornament boxes in the tree.

Just look at this little guy...
