The elves have been coming to visit. The first day they brought a card and an advent calendar. Brennan was so excited about the advent calendar (and maybe the chocolate in it) that he got up in the middle of the night asking "Momma is it tomorrow yet, can I open my calendars?" He's really into Christmas his year. He's asking me a lot of questions, like "Who buys Santa's presents?" I explained to him that Mrs. Claus and the elves take care of Santa but that he could get him a gift too. We took a gift of hot chocolate, hand warmers and a travel cup to Santa for him to use in his sleigh. Brennan was so excited that he rushed up to Santa while another little girl was on his lap and when I got him to bring him back to line he got really upset. It then took us 15 minutes or so to get him calmed down and get up the nerve to talk to Santa again. It was quite the visit with Santa, needless to say we didn't get that postcard picture with a boy on each knee and smiling. When he did talk to Santa I think that he told him about every toy that he knows of that he wanted for Christmas and has still managed to think of a few since that he "forgot to tell Santa." Jace is now walking all around and he's quite a "help" with undecorating the tree.
