Brennan is 2 years and 3 months already, before we know it he'll be 2 and a half and have a little brother! He continues to amaze us with how he speaks like a little adult. Recently, we had to make a poster for daycare which showed some of Brennan's favorite things (see below).
The poster shows his favorite color: yellow, his favorite foods: pancakes and waffles (although he also likes chocolate cookies/oreos and marshmallows, I'm not sure why I think he tried them once at school and then started asking for them. The poster also shows tractors, Mickey, Thomas, books, and a farm...all more of his favorite things. The other pictures are because he likes to go fishing, play with Porter, play at the park, and hit his tee ball. I think that it is a pretty good description of the many things that Brennan likes/enjoys. A few other things that we could have shown on the poster are his John Deere boots which are his favorite thing to wear right now. His favorite toy to play with seems to be his train set. He is really into collecting bugs and insects (he puts them in a cup, sometimes they even live to be set free) and he loves anything that lives in the ocean or water. He enjoys watching the tv, phone, computer or kindle WAY too much but on the other
hand for 2 years old it's pretty amazing how he can work the phone and
kindle. He does still enjoy reading books, in fact he can pretty much read word for word (through memorization) his little golden books!
Brennan is still on the small side, probably the smallest child in his daycare classroom. He weighed about 26 pounds when we visited the ER the other weekend. He's quite the sensitive little guy and gets upset if he thinks he hurt someone or if something has been hurt. He's such a sweet little boy, I sure hope he stays that way:) It's so much fun to watch him grow and learn!
