Brennan turned 22 months this week! Can you believe it only 2 more months and we'll have a 2 year old. He's still really into Mickey, tractors, and animals. He says sentences like:
- "Go downstairs, couple minutes."
- "Couch, watch Mickey, cuddlebug."
- "Come mere Sophie."
- "Baby, need milk, bottle" (in reference to Ava).
- "Eat cereal, crunch" (or golden graham).
- "Go fishing, different pond."
- "Cow, sound make, MOO!" or "Pig, sound make, Oink, Oink!"
- "Hear it, bird" (or motorcycle, rooster, dog, turkey...)
- "Love you Momma" (or Daddy...the best sentence of all)
He can tell you that he fishes for bass and blue gills and that he reels them in. He knows how to use the iphone to select youtube and then watch Mickey
or Thomas videos. He says "different one" if he needs your help to
select another video. He knows when to say please, thank you, and bless
you :). His vocabulary is really good and you never know what he might say next. He knows his shapes and colors. He is still counting but he still hasn't gotten number 8, except once. We've told him that we are going to the beach soon and he knows that we'll be going on an airplane. Every time that we talk about the beach he says "ice cream". We aren't sure why he associates the beach with ice cream but for some reason he does. We may spend our entire vacation eating ice cream! He's so much fun!
We went to the Land of the Little Horses today and he LOVED it. He couldn't get from one animal to the next fast enough.
