One More Month!

Say it isn't true!  My baby cannot be turning 1 in one month!  I have to say it makes me a little sad.  Jacers is a walker now!  I am considering him a walker since last weekend because he can consistently take 5 or 6 steps but the little stinker still prefers to crawl.  He finally got another tooth on his top right, and the left might be close behind.  He is starting to like to look at books and he's really good at running cars, trucks, etc.  He tries to repeat us sometimes, it's so cute (his best words in addition to mama and dada are still cow and cat)!  No one has to worry about this little one being able to jump he already tries and I swear that one time he got a little air!  Jace hates getting dressed, having his diaper changed and getting into he car seat; I think it's because he's afraid he' going to miss something.  He wants to see and be involved in everything which als0 means that he never wants to sleep (at least not at home!).  His little hands are always reaching and nothing is safe or out of bounds to him.  Happy 11 months to our baby boy, we love you Jacers!

A Few Pictures for You

Sorry for the lack of posts, we've been spending time looking at and trying to figure out house plans when we have a free minute in the evening.  Here are a few pictures of our cuties (I didn't even take many, eek!) from the last couple of weeks....I still don't have my computer fixed so I can't use my program to edit, crop or enhance pictures so I apologize for the red eyes, etc.!

This and That

It's been a little while since I've posted.   The boys continue to keep us on our toes.  Jace can now say cow (ow) and cat (at)!  He can take his hand and do "ah, ah, ah," by moving his hand on and off of his mouth (hope that makes sense)! He likes to clap and he can bend down to get something and stand back up.  He's not interested in walking on his own and won't take more than a step or 2 before going to down to his hands and knees and speeding away by crawling, he loves it when you chase him. He's really coordinated, he can climb up and over things without falling an even get off of his rocking bike himself without falling.  He likes to play ball and with any kind of vehicle he even tries to make the sound of them running!  He also likes to open (and take everything out) and close drawers and push doors open and closed.  His new thing is putting his tongue out right at his lips, in sort of a curl.  He has so many expressions and sure can be dramatic. 

 

Brennan says things like, "Mama you know what is important about a fruit roll up?" What Brennan? "You eat it!"  He also told me "Goofy is my favorite on Mickey's Clubhouse because he's silly like me!"  This evening I heard him saying "come on Little Bro", he's such a great big brother. Brennan can spell his name, write a B, and he is starting to learn which numbers are bigger or smaller and can sometimes add them.  He is also into rhyming and he's really good at it, just don't ask what rhymes with duck! I had a parent teacher conference with Brennan's teacher last week and she loves having him in her class and says that he does a great job.  Brennan recently got 3 new fish, their names are Thomas, Percy and James (imagine that)!  He's been enjoying look at the catalogs that come in the mail...although why do places need to force Christmas on us starting at Halloween?!!

Halloween

We celebrated Halloween for over week and got 4 wears out of the costumes!  The boys had fun trick or treating with friends and they want to thank Grandma Cindy, Nana and Pap Pap, Gram and Pap and Aunt Tammy for their Halloween cards and money...these boys aren't spoiled, not in the least!  Thanks to everyone for the all of Halloween treats!  We are having a little bit more of a laid back weekend after a crazy 2 weeks with events and appointments going on several nights a week.
