7 Months Old

This post is 3 days late but the pictures were taken on time.  The past few weeks haven't been our baby boys happiest of weeks, I guess (hope) it was his teeth coming in...he has 2 now.  He has wanted held a lot and now even has a preference as to who holds him.  He does a lot of grunting, it's his way of talking but I'm not sure what he's saying:).  He hasn't crawled yet but can get onto his hands and knees.  He really likes to stand while holding onto something.  He hasn't been to the doctor lately so I'm not sure how much he weighs...maybe close to 19 pounds.  Here are some photos from our shoot and a few more that were taken before Brennan's birthday but never made it onto the blog.

Brennan's 3rd Birthday Party

We celebrated Brennan's 3rd birthday on Sunday in true Thomas style.  He had a great time celebrating with everyone, once he woke up.  Thanks to all who came and for all of the cool gifts! Brennan loved everything, so many neat things...trains, an airplane, remote control vehicles, books, a costume, clothes, shoes, water toys, a sleeping bag, you name it this lucky boy got it!  He went to sleep with a train in his bed last night and didn't want to go to school today because he wanted to stay home and play with all of his presents.  You all are too good to our boys!  Still can't believe that my baby is 3.

One of the things that I did was ask Brennan a bunch of questions so that we could remember what he liked, etc. when he was 3. This was one of the signs in the decorations below but you can't see the answers so here they are:

Happy 3rd Birthday Brennan!

How is it possible that our first baby boy is 3 today?!  We wish the very happiest of birthdays to Brennan!  We are so lucky to have him as our son, he's kind hearted, sweet, and oh so loveable!  He's such a smarty pants and we sometimes can't believe the things that he comes up with.  Today when he was telling me about Chuck E. Cheese he told me "they are a proud sponsor of Disney Junior."  The power of advertising but can you believe that he can remember such things.  Last night he told me that the oreo cookie container says to "eat two per day for a sore throat" and "I have sore throat!"  He's too much!

Brennan's obsession is trains and he LOVES Thomas.  He's been telling me for probably 9 months that he wants a Thomas party for his 3rd birthday.  He's also informed me that he wants flags, popcorn, balloons, what bakery to get the cake at, and I' not sure what else that I might be forgetting.  When I was showing him pictures of the Thomas cakes, he just wanted to make sure that "there was enough for everyone"!  On Sunday we'll celebrate his birthday with family and friends in true Thomas style, he's SO excited!

Today we went to Chuck E. Cheese, the train store (where the nice man even gave him a free Chuggington train!), and Misty Meadow Creamery (if you haven't been there you need to go, very good!).  We finished off the day with dinner, presents and cupcakes at home.  Here are some pictures of our 3 year old!
