Hurricane Irene

What a week!  On Tuesday we felt an earthquake and tonight/tomorrow we are supposed to get lots of rain and wind that is from the outer band of hurricane Irene.  Brennan wore his tropical camo bibs for the event.  We are hoping that those areas in the heart of the storm won't be too badly damaged and that folks remain safe and sound.  We are also hoping that the house that we rented in OBX is still standing so that we can still go on vacation.

Land of Little Horses

Today Brennan and I went to the Land of Little Horses.  This is an important place; it's where I said I wanted to work "when I grow up" at my kindergarten graduation.  Brennan loved seeing all the animals, in addition to horses he saw pigs, cows, llama, alpacas, pigs, rabbits, turkeys, pheasants, goats, sheep, donkeys, and a monkey.  It's a nice place to visit and only a few minutes from our house.

This is Brennan signing, "more."  Pretty good, right?  And as you can see he finally decided that he likes peaches, probably because Daddy grew these:)

Brennan's First Fair

Last night we went to the South Mountain Fair.  Brennan LOVED seeing the animals and tractors!  What a fun night with friends.

Apologies

My apologies for being neglectful with my blog.  I don't have an excuse, I wasn't even on vacation.  I guess I've just been busy and tired.  Brennan continues to learn and do new things every day.  His vocabulary is expanding, he can say banana, apple, squirrel, fire truck, in addition to other words.  He has been doing a little dancing lately which is quite funny (and adorable).  He knows where his tongue is and is proud to show you.  He's so much fun!

Better Late than Never

 Brennan had a fun weekend visiting with family.  He also saw many people at his first Wells Tannery homecoming, watched the parade, and sat on tractors.  I forgot my camera so I only have a couple of pictures.
