Da Da

We weren't sure if this should count or not but Brennan can say DaDa in some of his babble.  It's a very tough thing to get on video tape but I sort of got it in the clip below.  Also, the B man got his first "accident report" at daycare yesterday.  He became really upset when he was eating lunch and scratched himself.  This (getting upset) is now a common thing when he eats.  We think it's because he just wants to eat puffs, therefore his puff privileges have been taken away.  Poor little guy!  Hopefully, he'll forget about the puffs and start eating better soon.  He's a good eater at breakfast and then it gets worse with each meal.  Prior to the puff obsession he was usually always a good eater.

8 Months Old

Happy 8 month birthday Brennan!  It's getting harder to take pics of the little man as he tries to climb away or flop himself this way and that.  I'm not sure what next month's pictures will look like.  He still loves to stand and can pull himself up easily.  He's getting around more but by rolling rather than crawling.  He can scoot a little but still not a full out crawl.  I think I've taught him to give "high five"  or at least hold his hand up so that I can give him a high five.  He really likes to swing and be outside, today he was trying to eat dirt (I guess that's what boys do).

Mom's lucky charm!

 

30 is the new 20!

So, happy 20th birthday to me!  I had a wonderful birthday...we started celebrating over the weekend (see prior post) and on my actual birthday I spent the day shopping with my Mom, Aunt Tammy and Brennan.  We went to the Potomac Bead Company and the Plum before heading to the Prime Outlets in Hagerstown.  I used to go to the Plum about 2 times a week when I worked in Hagerstown.  I was so excited that my favorite soup, Brunswick stew, was on the menu--yum!  If you haven't tried the Plum it's the best lunch spot in Hagerstown (in my opinion).  I found several pretty beads for my bracelet at the bead store--I purchased 4 beads for the price of one Pandora bead! I also had success at the outlets and I got to visit the Coach store which I had been needing (ok, wanting) to do!  I think Brennan enjoyed the day shopping, he was such a good boy and all smiles in his stroller.  Of course, he didn't leave without getting a few presents of his own.  After a busy day, we met the rest of our family for dinner in Waynesboro and ended the day with ice cream cake from DQ.  Thanks to everyone who made my 30th birthday a very special one!

Fun Weekend

We started celebrating my birthday this weekend with a night out with friends last night.  Thanks to everyone who came out with us (and who stayed home with Brennan), we had a great time!  I'm looking forward to celebrating again on Tuesday which is my my actual birthday.  Brennan got to spend some time with Summer and Noah this weekend. It was the first time that Noah met Brennan and Summer hadn't seen him since he was a tiny little peanut.

 

Be eating his puffs, he tried the yogurt ones for the first time.  He knew to pick it up and feed himself.
