Weekend Getaway

Last year this time we were in beautiful Anguilla.  It was a wonderful trip and we still can't wait to go back.  This weekend we took a getaway a little closer to home.  We went to 7 Springs Resort with some of our friends and spent the weekend skiing.  We had a great time on the slopes as well as off.  The skiing was great, it was nice to be at mountain larger than Liberty with many long trails to choose from, and we had fun in the evenings hanging out.  We stayed in a Condo in the Sunridge section (F7) and we were pleasantly surprised with our trendy 2 bedroom loft.  I'd highly recommend this condo. It was so convenient, we could ski right out onto the slopes!  Thanks to our friends for coming along and making it a fun weekend!  We are, of course, glad to be home with Brennan but he had a great time hanging out with his grandparents and everyone else!

A Year Ago

A year ago today we found out that we were having a boy!   It was so exciting to finally know and then the planning and preparing began....now we can't imagine life without our precious little B.

I was thinking about all of the nicknames our little man has and thought I'd compile the list here:

7 Months:)

Can you believe it, Brennan is 7 months old?!  Our little boy is getting so big.  He likes to stand up (with help of course), make funny noises with his lips, read books, and dive to reach toys or anything in site.  He also still loves bath time and watching his mobile.  Playing peek a boo remains one of his favorite things to do and will usually result in lots of giggles.  He also likes to pretend to fly or hang upside down like a monkey....I'm afraid he's going to have a "no fear" mentality.  He's finally feeling better; we hope the RSV is now a virus of the past for him.

Poor Baby

It's been a long week.  Poor Brennan has been sick, and Mommy and Daddy are feeling a little under the weather too.  He has RSV, which makes it hard to breathe.  It's so stressful having a sick baby because you just don't know what to do to help him.  He had to stay home from daycare all week but he had plenty of people who wanted to watch him.  He is on two different medicines which he absolutely hates!  He now puts his lips together and spits before we even get the syringe near his mouth.  He seems to be doing a little better but he's still not 100%.  The doctor said that it takes a while to recover from RSV.  I was still able to get some happy pics of our little guy.
